Our new Chester Zoo App has everything you need to navigate the zoo, right at your fingertips.
You’ll have a whole zoo in your pocket! From finding your favourite animals to navigating from point A to B with ease, this app will help you explore and get things done to make your zoo day the BEST DAY EVER!
We want to make your time at the zoo as FUN FILLED as possible, without the hassle of finding your way around our 128 acres of zoological gardens or trying to locate any of our 20,000 animals!

An accurate tour guide
This app was a life saver today, we saved down our top 5 animals to see at the zoo the day day before and then we just selected it on the map while at the zoo and followed the directions. So accurate!! Plus all the days talk times were there so you can plan where you want to be and how quickest to get there.
Very useful app
I found the app very useful. While taking a break I was able to check to see if we’d missed anything in the areas we visited (we had) and then used the navigation to get there. It worked very well.
It would be nice to have the option to keep the screen awake while using the navigation but that’s a minor issue, also trade off against battery life.
Only 4 stars because while the app and its navigation worked well some other functions (Facebook and calendar, possibly others) wouldn’t refresh. I had to close the app right down, not just into background, to get those functions back.
Fabulous day out!
We had an amazing day! We managed to almost see everything we had hoped to. But we will revisit very soon to see some new exhibits that are due to be completed soon.
