This site was recommended to me by someone, when I said it was difficult to source specific variants of different watches - you know the problem - some particular variants can take up to 12 weeks to get sent to a dealer in the UK. So low and behold, Chrono24 manage to make life for me (and you) a whole lot easier. The huge range of watches available - new and pre-owned - is absolutely staggering. I have just purchased a watch from a dealer outside the EU and it couldn’t have been simpler or safer - an escrow account so your money is safe makes you breathe a whole lot easier when you are regularly dropping five figure sums on pieces of horological excellence. If I was to find just one tiny thing to make the site even more excellent, then it would be to have an option to exclude certain males from the search - especially at the lower end of the selling prices on offer here. Apart from that? I won’t be using anything else to browse for my next watch purchase - whether it’s a Montblanc or a Blancpain...

I purchased a watch 6 weeks ago from a seller in France. I payed via Chrono24 secure payment service. Due to the seller not providing the appropriate information to customs the watch was returned to seller so I never received it. Far enough, but I’ve contacted Chrono24 various times for a refund 1st time over a month ago, they won’t refund until the seller confirms he has received the watch back even though they know it never even left France. So I don’t understand why I’ve been left waiting for my money to be returned. I made the payment with a credit card so am also incurring interest. I again have chased them up last week and still nothing. So for no reason I’m the one out of pocket and chasing a refund. I Will never buy anything from Chrono24 again. Will stick to watchfinder and my independent dealer that delivers great service every time.

Everyone who rated this five starts probably hasn’t used the messaging system. Unfortunately, my transaction on C24 was less than stellar, so I’ve made extensive use of the messaging system: it’s rubbish. 1. You can’t copy and paste. 2. You can only upload photos one by one, and there is no confirmation prompt. As soon as you tap on a photo, it is sent, so be careful what you tap on. You could quite easily send your private photos if you are not careful. And there’s no way to delete them once uploaded. 3 . Photos take ages to upload. After tapping on a photo, it literally takes 10 to 20 seconds before it appears on the screen. 4. Each time you leave the messaging screen, for example, because you have to check another app, you are taken back to the most recent message. This can be infuriating when you’ve spent ages scrolling to an earlier message. Obviously, C24 isn’t expecting customers to have problems when purchasing a watch. Unfortunately, I did. And the experience was made none the nicer with the apps terrible messaging system.
