Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth is a new science-fiction-themed entry into the award-winning Civilization series. Set in the future, global events have destabilized the world leading to a collapse of modern society, a new world order and an uncertain future for humanity. As the human race struggles to recover, the re-developed nations focus their resources on deep space travel to chart a new beginning for mankind.
As part of an expedition sent to find a home beyond Earth, you will write the next chapter for humanity as you lead your people into a new frontier and create a new civilization in space. Explore and colonize an alien planet, research new technologies, amass mighty armies, build incredible Wonders and shape the face of your new world. As you embark on your journey you must make critical decisions. From your choice of sponsor and the make-up of your colony, to the ultimate path you choose for your civilization, every decision opens up new possibilities.

No Bugs all working fine and good game
If you like the Civilisation Series and are a Sci-Fi fan then this is probably for you. I thought it was good but found it did not grip me as much as the traditional game. The features are very recognisible so you wont get lost or feel daunted if you have played Civ 1-5 and also the tutorials are really good and much improved. The one thing I could not stand was the Alien feature, it just slows the game right up and there is no feature to turn them off, very much like the raging barbarians in other Civ games but this time round the Aliens are an integral part of the game. The premise for Beyond Earth is really interesting but I found the technolgies and the buildings very boring because you dont really know what they are. In all this is a good game and Civ fans will love it. I gave it four stars as you can still get a really good challenging game out of playing it - i just prefer playing on earth I think !
Ignore the bug fix comments too, this game loaded and played perfectly and there were no glitches. Could be that if you dont have enough memory on your computer to play it , it might crash - you need 2gb to install and 8 gb free to play….
I look forward to updates that might improve it slightly for my tastes….
Dont waste your monet
This game could of been good,but the control method and the over complecated rules to the game make it the biggest pile of TOSH in a game that i have ever played. I took a chance on this game,thinking i could master it but its just a plain waste of time in your life,could of been a good game ,good music ,atmosphere but sadly,if this was the game Bullseye,it would of missed the targeg by a country mile. Final thought for the day,A WASTE OF MONEY.
Maybe it's just me
I prefer this over Civilization V & VI. Don't get me wrong it isn't perfect, however I love how different this is to the normal civilization games. I don't know why this game gets criticised. For me I'd like to see another like this.
