Star Wars™: KOTOR II 12+

I love this game and the 1st perfect games in my opinion gameplay and story are perfect but had a bit of problem with the sound not working some times but I’ve got to a point where everything I try leave the ship I just get a black screen and nothing else happens so I can’t leave the ship so I at a point of restarting and I’m pretty far in so I would of lost a lot of time so I’m just hoping for an update please please fix this problem

I love this game and the previous one. I had them for the pc years back and have been eagerly waiting for KOTOR 2 to come out on iPhone. This game however was always notoriously glitchy even on pc and I had hoped it would have been rectified for the iOS, unfortunately after over 30+ hours of game play I am no longer able to continue due to a glitch on Nar shaddaa where I am unable to continue due to a glitch in a cutscene and it not loading a part of the game. Unfortunately all my saves are after this point so I can’t even spend 5 hours getting to where I was it would be a case of spending 30 hours again and starting from scratch, I hope these bugs get fixed and you don’t become disappointed. I would recommend having an independent save for the start of each planet you visit just in case you get a glitch. Hopefully an update will come and it will rectify the issue. Other then that it is an amazing game along with KOTOR 1.

I’ve played both KOTOR games many times before, but the convenience of being able to play them both on a phone or tablet cannot be overstated.

This has a very different feel to it than the original game. Thinking of it in terms of traditional Star Wars themes, KOTOR is like A New Hope, whereas KOTOR II provides a much more mysterious and thought-provoking story. It has its flaws (the whole opening Peragus mission is pretty tedious) and the ending leaves further questions to be answered, but overall it’s superior to its predecessor in terms of character development and depth in my opinion. As is its bravery in addressing themes not really discussed before in Star Wars games, such as the true nature of the force.

The controls are very simple and straightforward, and thus far I haven’t encountered any glitches. It’s a shame it’s taken 7 years for this port to come to mobile since KOTOR was released on iPhone and iPad back in 2013, but it was well worth the wait.

Fans of the original who have yet to play this are in for a real treat. It has massive replay-ability, with the various dark side/light side and male/female narrative permutations. A truly great game for Star Wars and RPG fans alike!
