Tiny egg cups of chips
Lovely food but my delicious chips came in a tiny metal egg cup of chips. I wanted more but thought it was rude to order two. Nice selection of soft drinks including a cherry and plum one. All I could think of was someone eating plums and all the juice running down their chin, it made me feel a little sick so I ordered a ginger beer. Sat by the window so we could watch people do stuff outside.
Excellent 1st class Hotel and service!
We’ve been here to the Castle hotel on many occasions and always found Manager n his staff polite n helpful at all times. Highly recommended!

Not a great app
Ordered 3 cocktails and waited a fairly long while for them to arrive (as cocktails sometimes can) only for there to be just 1 brought over. Ordered on the app and the barman disagreed that we had ordered 3 (it was £25! A bit steep if it was for one drink) had to go to speak to him and the assistant manager and prove I had ordered 3 by showing them the order on my phone as they were insisting it was 1. Had to wait a fair while for the 2 to come and there wasn’t even an apology. Service on this occasion wasn’t very friendly but the drinks were delicious.
