Great adventure game for ios
Really enjoyed the game its a good mature story and is quite well written and acted also the puzzles are decent and the powers you use to solve the puzzles add a cool element.
plus you can deffinetly see touches of jane jensen in the game as she worked as story consultant.
i now feel more relaxed having pheonix online the gabrial knight remake after playing this also looking forward to playin the rest of this series on ios.
[Criticism]
its not perfect tho there are some pretty odd glitches like the character will frequently
take to the air and hovering off the gorund, it doesnt break the game it corrects itself but still anoyying
and at times there is a little lack of direction on what to do like when using the office computer its not obvious what you should press so you end up tapping everything on the screen little things like that.
and i dont know what vik83 is talking about completing in under 30 mins there must be well over that in voice dialog alone never mind travelling to locations and solving puzzles 83 must be a point and click master mind that skips all the cut scenes and dialog interactions
Very addictive and at less than £3 an absolute bargain!
Totally immersive game. I can only assume the people who have rated it negatively have a very short attention span! It has a very involving and original storyline.. And one which definitely benefits from good dialogue to build atmosphere! It reminded me of the days when Tim Curry took the leading role in the "Gabriel Knight" trilogy and Jane Jensen took the classic point-and-click game into new territory...
If you're the type of person who likes a really interesting back-story and who enjoys a bit more sophistication than the usual mind-numbingly dull "hidden object" game, this will be a breath of fresh air... Already completed episode 2 and waiting impatiently for the next instalment!
Full of atmosphere, a great adventure!
I don't understand the negative reviews some have written on here, there's one of two bugs and you might have to cheat on some of the harder puzzles until you know how the game works, but this game has been the only point and click I've bothered to finish since Broken Sword.
Buy the game, support the developers so they keep churning out more, I know I will!
