Computeractive

Have read this magazine since issue 1, then subscribed. It is a fabulous source of info big and small and over the years I have gleaned lots of tips, info and help. As with any magazine, not every article or snippet is for everyone but there is sufficient in there to hold the interest for most users, even the medium techo that I am. Keep it up, thank you. I advise any tech user to try it for a few months and I am sure most of you will want it regularly.

A technical magazine in plain English but the iPad version doesn’t work anymore

I used to receive this magazine from the very first edition in paper form but switched to the digital version when I got the iPad. Unfortunately Dennis publishing have recently changed something and my subscription isn’t coming over to the iPad app. Pixel mags can’t sort it without a number from Dennis and Dennis can’t sort it because they have a 3 week customer service delay!! What a shambles.

Update 1 November - I finally got some resolution to my problem. Well, they couldn’t resolve it so refunded my subscription fee and I re-subscribed through the iPad app (which was actually £8 per 6 months anyway) and it’s working again apart from the 6 issues I missed whilst they were messing around.

Digital edition for iPad

Due to expected delivery problems subscribers were offered the digital formation tried this and was very impressed with the reading experience.
I am particularly impressed with the scrapbook feature where yo can save articles of interest.
I have therefore made the decision to go digital only which will save having printed editions and in a small way help our planets resources.
