Connexoon Window RTS 4+

After spending some time playing with this app (I have 15 smart blinds and 6 remote switches operating lamps) the app allows a whole host of different options to operate the blinds.

My favourite option is that the app tracks dusk and dawn times and can operate my blinds and lights however some areas of my house are darker way before dusk but I can only set the time to be 1hr before and after dusk - please extend this time in the next version!

Other than that this app does everything you would need!

In most cases I have to close and reopen the app on startup, it very rarely opens first time. Sometimes it overrides my timer preferences for no reason, and other times does not show a certain timer setting in the ‘schedule’ section but activates it anyway!
The Home Page does not show at a glance what each pre-set function should look like, which is the case in the Ambiance Page where you put your own photo for each one (that’s a very cool idea btw). I constantly have to go into the mode edit to check what I want.
All in all it’s wonderful to have the facility of remote blinds settings, but like another reviewer stated, there should be more care and empathy applied to the ergonomics.

This app works fine, but my one big criticism is the layout. The parts you use most ( in my case) are the individual blind controls, but for some reason they’re along the bottom of the main page, so you have to scroll to the side to access the individual blind controls. I can’t help but feel these would be better placed, either as a list or as tiles in the top/centre of the page where they’d be more easily accessible. Maybe have a look at how the Tado app is laid out, or even the Apple Home app. That aside, the app is fine, but, developers, please see if the layout could be improved.
