Control Panel for Twitter is a Safari extension to improve your experience on Twitter.com by adding new features and options Twitter is missing. By default, your Home timeline will be the chronological "Following" timeline, which will only contain tweets and quote tweets from the people you follow. The algorithmic "For you" timeline will be hidden, and Control Panel for Twitter will keep you on "Following" if Twitter tries to put you back on "For you". Everything is configurable, so start by opening the extension options and customizing to your liking. Lot of control over the Twitter website. Would be nice if I could hide the 'following' tab text since I have hidden the 'for you' tab and the 'following' is superflous info. Would be perfect if I could hide all posts by blueticks.

Not working on iPhone

I tried to contact the developer via the App Store but it takes you to GitHub. GitHub requires technical knowledge that the developers should NOT expect ordinary users to have. Apple should not allow contact with the developer by any means other than through this site and perhaps an email address. I contacted Apple who tried to help but they couldn’t solve the issue. I love this app as it works perfectly on iPad but I’m getting really frustrated by trying to get out running on the iPhone. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn’t help in the slightest. Edit: I’ve discovered since Twitter is now X and the address has changed, allowing web page contents and browsing needed to be re-enabled for the new addresses as their automatically set to deny. I did not have to do this in my iPad. This problem has now been solved. No mention of this from the developers.

I made a gamble on downloading this app and paying extra money for the sake of not seeing ads or any other inappropriate content and it works like a charm. However, i would really wish the extension worked on the app rather than just the website as it would make life so much easier. If there is any way, please let me know,

• Added an option to control sorting of the Following timeline (defaulting to Most recent) - this will prevent Twitter defaulting it to Popular when sorting is added to the web UI • Added an option to hide the Business/Verified Orgs nav item • Moved hiding all Business/Verified Orgs and Creator Studio links to their own specific options instead of Hide Premium upsells • Re-ordered options to match the current Twitter sidebar/menu • Hide more Premium upsell variants under focused Tweets • Fixed Community Tweets being treated as Retweets in timelines where Retweets can be hidden • Removed Hide Monetization option, as Creator Studio seems to have replaced it
