I scanned the app to order food but managed to purchase food / drink to the wrong pub (one 10 minute walk up the road). The QR scanning or the app should make it easier to make sure you’re ordering at the correct location - I.e. a GPS or a map popping up! When I realised I had ordered at the wrong pub, after speaking to the pub staff, they weren’t able to give us a refund, nor were the staff on the phone at the pub I’d accidentally ordered at, as they were different pub chains. The app was also useless for this situation. Luckily the pub we accidentally ordered honoured our order if we walked down there so we weren’t out of pocket. But what was supposed to be an “easier” way of ordering to your table, was definitely not.

It would be great to understand which pubs were involved as I’m not sure what you mean about them being different chains so would be great to get more info, thanks!

In Wimbledon. No 4G in bar so accessed your WiFi. Took forever to register and then WiFi is unusably slow. Just let me use decent WiFi. Putting a portal at the front end makes it painfully poor experience.

Basically couldn’t even download the app.

Why do you launch an app to allow me to order at the table when your WiFi doesn’t work and your app won’t load.

If it’s this bad don’t even try.

Took 30 seconds on WiFi to even get this review page to load. Utterly useless.

I tried using the app today and it just froze on the loading screen before crashing. It used to work but whatever changes they have made has broken it.
