This game has a lot of potential as it’s pretty fun and relaxing but omg is it slow!!

Paying coins every time you go out to fish means progress to new areas and enough coin for customisation takes weeks!

The catching mechanics are incredibly tedious and after 15-30 minutes of reparative graft you have 3 fish you sell for next to nothing.

You get directed to named places for quests yet theres no map or any indication at all of where these places are except for the main areas as you pass through them. Like how do we know where or what a ‘sunken platform’ is without googling it?
What you call a sunken platform I see as an old oil rig, so some form of guidance for non-develops would be great.

On that note it is a shame that the app developers clearly put more time and effort into making it a pay to win game instead of a nice relaxing game that people will inevitably invest really money into, not because the have to, but because they enjoy the game so much.

I also really hate games with real time daylight!!!
Like give us the option to turn it off.
I’m playing this to get lost in the bright colourful world you’ve created, but like most working people i only play phone games before bed, and once the brightness is down on my phone, the constant in game nighttime makes it pretty much impossible to see what you’re doing.

I played for 3-4 days but I’m probably gonna call it.

I really enjoy the game and never leave reviews but it’d be nice for certain things to improve.

The core mechanics are great along with the worlds, variety of fish etc.

Ways to improve it though as I would see is that the game doesn’t really keep track of quests well at all, you pay 1000 coins for it and theres no detail or description of what that mission is or how far along a certain story line you are. Linking to this you should definitely add a map, allow people to see which fish are where once theyve fished their before (and caught one) as it’s easy to forget.

We also get given tips on how to catch monsters but there is no way to look back on the information. So if you play the game another time and forget theres no way of remembering. It should be in a “book of monsters” of some sort.

A little thing that could also be added is a rod inventory allowing us to switch between ones we’ve bought so you dont have to waste an expensive one fishing for trash.

There is also no real intro on what the goal is and upgrading ur home island takes farrr too long, having a separate inventory which you could store wood in would be ideal. The game is slow paced which is fine but certain aspects could be sped up.
