Description

"Cytus II" is a music rhythm game created by Rayark Games. It's our fourth rhythm game title, following the footsteps of three global successes, "Cytus", "DEEMO" and "VOEZ". This sequel to "Cytus" brings back the original staff and is a product of hardwork and devotion.

In the future, humans have redefined internet development and connections. We can now easily sync the real world with the internet world, changing life as we have known for thousands of years.

In the mega virtual internet space cyTus, there exists a mysterious DJ legend Æsir. His music has an irresistible charm; people fall madly in love with his music. Rumor has it that every note and beat of his music hits the audiences in
the depths of their souls.

One day, Æsir, who had never shown his face before, suddenly announced that he will be holding the first mega virtual concert —— Æsir-FEST and will invite a top idol singer and a popular DJ as opening performances. The instant the ticket sales began, an unprecedented rush occurred. Everyone wanted to see Æsir's real face.

On the day of the FEST, millions of people were connected to the event. At one hour before the event started, the previous world record for most simultaneous connection was smashed. The whole city was on its feet, waiting for Æsir to descent from the skies...

Game Features:

- The unique "Active Judgement Line" rhythm game playstyle
Tap the notes as the judgement line hits them to achieve a high score. Through five different kinds of notes and the judgement line that actively adjusts its speed according to the beat, the gameplay experience is further combined with the music. Players can easily immerse themselves in the songs.

- A total of 250+ high-quality songs (50+ in base game, 200+ as IAP)
The game includes songs by composers from all across the world, Japan, Korea, the US, Europe, Taiwan and more. Through the characters, players get to play songs from different genres including but not limited to: electronic, rock and classical. We are confident that this game will live up to the hype and expectations.

- Over 800 different charts
Over 800 different charts designed, from easy to hard. The rich game content can satisfy players of different levels. Experience exciting challenges and enjoyment through the sensation of your fingertips.

- Explore the virtual internet world with the game's characters
The one-of-a-kind story system "iM" will lead the players and the in-game characters to slowly piece together the story and world behind "Cytus II". Reveal the truth of the story with a rich, cinematic visual experience.

Loving it as a free to play game

I haven’t spent any money on this game and I am enjoying the game along with the music so much! Some of the payed aspects are a bit tricky to get you tempted to buy it but I don’t think that they get in the way. THE ART AND ANIMATION ARE AWSOME!!! The whole game has the most satisfying art and back grounds, it really adds so much character. I down loaded it expecting a rip off of osu but instead got a beautiful game that is completely it’s own thing.
It even has bits of story if you can be bothered to read it.
I love the challenge of the game mixed with all of the amazing talent used to make it as stunning as it is.
(I don’t revue things often but I simply love this game. It is a ‘must try’ form me. The music mixed with the art is something else.)

Amazing but absurdly overpriced

Coming from a person who played Cytus 1, I love everything this game adds to the original one from the new swipes to new design. For £2, you get a solid game but SRSLY? Only a couple of songs?? The original one had way more for free! To be fair, this is a fairly new game but still, the original had more when it first came out. To make things worse, each character expansion costs £10! By the time of writing this, all expansion packs cost ~£85, which is a complete rip off hence rating this game 3 stars. You're much better off getting the original one which is very similar yet really good. If you're a beginner, sure why not (should try Cytus 1 too imo) but unless if they slash the prices to around £2-£4, those who are going to play a lot should be expected to invest a lot for new content. Don't get me wrong, this is an AMAZING game and those who want to try it should get it, but unless if they start slashing prices and/or releasing good FREE content regularly, I'm holding off a 5 star rating.

Awesome game

The rating would’ve been 5 stars before the Capso system, something I’m not gonna pay for. This is my favorite game in general, I always play it during plane trips or coach transfers. It is also the game I’ve spent most money on, possessing half the DLC characters (The latest ones don’t interest me that much) and all the Black Market songs for the characters I do possess. The introduction of a gacha mechanism should’ve been welcome, except for the fact you need to pay 9.99 just to access it. I guess I expected it to be free, but I know nothing is. Yes Rayark, you must be getting a lot of money from this game, just keep in mind that if you go over the limit and get too greedy you just might lose all your fanbase. I liked Cytus 1. I enjoyed deemo as well (even though I was never that good in it) and I absolutely fell in Love with Cytus 2 (I even bought an iPad just because I heard this game was coming out). Just, please stop bleeding us dry.
