Ratings and Reviews
This seems to be a good and efficient alternative to the DAFNE diary, and it does provide a shortcut to the DAFNE Online carb-counting helper (the DAFNE book, but slightly different - better in some ways, more awkward in others). What would make this a 5-star app for me would be if it included an offline copy of the carb-counting lists. Of course, then it would need a mechanism to update itself with new items, but that's not hard to imagine. The best thing about this is its simplicity. The traditional DAFNE diary is simple, and that makes it easy to be compliant. If you add too much complexity, it gets worse, not better. I like that the feature set is no more complex than a paper diary. That's all I need to be able to spot trends.
I'd be lost without it
I detest taking my blood sugar, mainly because I have to write it down in that horrible little orange book and I can't keep track or I lose the book so don't test for days.. however this app has been like a breath of fresh air, not only am I recording my BG 5-7 or so times a day and actually keeping on top of it, it takes 5 seconds to record on my phone and is a lot easier to see where my BI needs adjusting! Perfect.
Great little app!
Great app that I use constantly to keep a good record of my levels and see averages which make life easy to monitor!
On another note I had a small crashing issue since an Apple update, but It was no problem with the amazing support from Simon, who had it worked out and repaired in a few days with a constant stream of emails keeping me updated! 10/10 to Simon and this app 😎
