Daily Strength is a gym workout planner and tracker that makes it easy for you to log and track your weight lifting workouts. Create your own gym workout plans and routines by selecting from an extensive list of exercises such as bench press, barbell squat, deadlift, and a variety of dumbbell, barbell and olympic exercises. The workout tracker also contains built in gym workout plans that you can easily get started on. Some workout schedules included are Stronglifts, 5x5, Madcow, Push Pull Legs (PPL), Starting Strength and much more. Training with weights has never been easier.
When you create your gym workout plans and log your weight lifting workouts, the workout planner will help you visualize your progress. You can view one rep max charts of the major compound exercises like bench press, barbell squat, and deadlift.

The best out there and only £9.99 to unlock everything for life!
First things first, this app offers all the programs and exercises all of the other workout apps offer. This app has a nice UI and is easy to navigate during a workout. The free tier gives access to 5 full programs and all 300 exercises. The premium tier is only £9.99 one off payment and gives access to approx 30 individual programs.
The workout programmes are based on principles backed by scientific literature (high rep ranges for muscle growth, low range for strength etc) and well regarded fitness experts.
I have been training for over 15 years now and I remember the days when a good workout app cost about £2.99. Nowadays you are looking at subscription only or the free versions available are just ugly and unusable. I AM TIRED OF APPS TRYING TO CHARGE SUBSCRIPTION FEES THAT ARE THE SAME AS FULL GYM MEMBERSHIPS AT £100s PER YEAR, REALLY!! - THIS APP IS NOT ONE OF THEM!! Developers could get away with something sensible like £0.59 per like iCloud and rake it.... anyway I digress. Download the app, you won’t regret it.

Used numerous app’s trying to find one that suits my constantly changing mindset and I just keep coming back this one - one off payment for lifetime for under £10 simply cannot be argued and the programs available give good grounding for different types of workouts - easily edited by duplicating then editing in ‘your workouts’ section.
Recently upgraded to the yearly coach just to try and have to say I am really enjoying that too but seriously the std app is more than enough!

Cannot edit plans or workouts
I bought the premium version to get the statistics, which my other app is not so great at. However, this app has some major flaws in it and I’ve wasted my money! You can design a workout plan with various workouts in it, but once saved you cannot add, delete or edit any part of it. Really annoying to have to delete your plan and start all over again to change it! You literally get 2 options, delete or duplicate. Pretty rubbish really. Then, the statistics, which is why I bought the app, are set to estimated 1 rep max, rather than what you’ve actually done. This also cannot be changed. In summary, a nice looking app with absolutely rubbish functionality. I’ll be deleting it having wasted my money!
