Dark Parables: Goldilocks and Fallen Star (Full‪)‬ 9+

I have played all the games in this series and enjoy them very much, the artwork is stunning and it was a good length game, a very helpful map as well. I did find I had to use the hint button quite a lot because it was hard to follow, some of the puzzles were very difficult and had to skip a couple which I hate doing. I have deducted 1 star because the hos are beautiful but boring, just random tapping, not bad for £2.99 though.

You are asked to go to barsia to find out why strange mechanical stags are terrorising the town. Little do you know this is just the tip of the iceberg as this amazing adventure unfolds.
Eipix have made one of the best games I have played in a long time. I don't know how they do it but they have really emulated blue tea's style in graphics and even with the music in this game.
The graphics are beautiful a real feast for your eyes. Each new scene is more breathtaking than the last. There are snowflake collectables and collectables to unlock parables. Hos are the usual fragmented scenes that we all know with the dark parable games. Mini games have been really original and not too hard. Though a few have made me think a bit harder than usual. You do have a map.
Jack even makes an appearance and is usual sarcastic self. I have been playing now for 2 hours and have completely lost myself in this game. Loving every second.

I never really got into this game. Although the graphics and atmosphere are lovely, the storyline is great and the voice acting is good, for me, the game didn't flow very well.
I ended up skipping half of the puzzles (something I never normally do) as I found some of them very fiddly and tricky. Also I seemed to be spending ages trying to spot some of the collectables (I like to find them all) which were very well hidden and there were too many dark, unimaginative, fragmented HOS - I know it's part of the Dark Parables franchise but I'd like a bit more innovation for a change. Won't be playing the bonus.
There's nothing wrong with the game, it just wasn't for me I'm afraid.
