Daykeep
Photo Journal / Private diary
Free · In-App Purchases
Daykeep is a private journal for the days worth keeping — your words and your photos, together, on your iPhone, iPad and Mac.
There's no account to create and nothing to sign up for. If you use iCloud, your journals sync quietly across your own devices and stay in your private iCloud — yours alone. And there's no subscription: Daykeep is free to use, with a single one-off unlock if you ever want more.
WRITE THE WAY THE DAY HAPPENED
An entry is built from blocks — a paragraph, a photo, a few more words — kept in the order you wrote them, so your pictures sit exactly where they belong in the story. Add a title, or let the date stand in.
PHOTOS, WITHOUT LIMITS
Add as many photos to an entry as you like. Give any of them a caption, choose a key photo for the day, and set a cover for each journal. Daykeep can read the date, place and weather from a photo to fill the entry in for you, and it keeps a sensible, print-friendly copy so a long journal never balloons in size.
KEEP SEPARATE JOURNALS
A trip, the family, a private one — each journal has its own name, colour and cover. Pin your favourites to the top.
FIND YOUR WAY BACK
• On This Day — see what you wrote on this date in years past
• Search everything you've written
• Browse by tag, or jump to any date
• Link entries together and follow the thread
• Set a gentle daily reminder to write, if you'd like one
COMING FROM DAY ONE
Bring your Day One journal straight in — export it as a zip and import in a tap. Your entries, photos, dates, places and weather come across, and your original is left untouched.
MAKE A BOOK
Turn a journal into a readable book and print it or save it as a PDF, right from Daykeep. Want something more designed? Export to Mosaic Collage Maker and pour your journal into a designed photo book.
SHARE A MOMENT
Share a single entry as a designed card — the photo the hero, a taste of your words — to Messages, Instagram, WhatsApp or wherever you like.
SAFE AND YOURS
Back up a journal whenever you like, and recover it if you ever need to. Lock the app behind Face ID or Touch ID for an extra door.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No server of ours. No adverts, no analytics, no tracking. Your journal lives on your devices and in your own iCloud, and we can't read it.
DAYKEEP PLUS
Journaling, unlimited photos, iCloud sync and backup are always free. One optional, one-off Daykeep Plus purchase — never a subscription — removes the two-journal limit, prints books and PDFs without a watermark, and lets you split and combine journals to reorganise your writing.
