Now this was definitely a wake up call for me, we been seeing all these protests and with Black Lives Matter and that's what matters. We need to focus on anti-racist action. I think alot of people have stopped focusing on activism and we're not getting any progress but this game can help people realize that this is still going on. Now one of my concerns with this game was in the chats when one of them said "there are good feds and there are bad feds", nah, all feds no matter what, are bad. This system, the police, was never created for the protection of people, police don't protect us they protect property. Racism is ingrained in the police force and the only solution is police abolition otherwise we will never be free. There are many alternatives to police. Other than that, stunning game, very moving.
The game is great with a nice story to tell. I found myself more and more intrigued with how the case progressed as I went through the episodes and I found myself longing for an answer to know who murdered Jerome. The immersion and gameplay aspects were very well handled. My only problem with the game is that it tends to crash a bit, especially in the last two episodes. When the game crashed I found that I couldn’t progress further upon reloading as some of the options for conversations needed for game progress suddenly didn’t show up anymore and I was forced to replay the entire episode scenario once more from scratch. This gets a bit irritating if it happens 2-3 times on the same episode. I faced the same issue when I received a call in the middle of an episode and suddenly the game considered it as me quitting and progress was denied. All things considered I would rate it a solid 8/10. I removed points only due to my frustrations with the crashes and redoing of plot required.
Lovely interactive game !
I found this game via the South Asian Heritage category (or widget ?) on the Apple AppStore and I have to say that this is the first proper interactive gameplay I have enjoyed on mobile !
I admit that some of the previews you get on the AppStore can be a bit misleading e.g. “you can make calls” when in fact people call you and you can’t call them. Unless I haven’t unlocked that feature..
There has been a bug in game, it will not load ep4 s1 for me, and I tried skipping it to ep5, but alas... it did not work unfortunately. (It could be because I have an iPhone6 not sure) Personally feel if I skip one episode I’m missing out on a lot. I did try resetting the progress of ep4 even though I haven’t interacted with it, and it didn’t work, so I’m going to be uninstalling it and see if that does out.
Nevertheless, this is a great interactive crime drama game and I enjoyed it if you leave out the bugs I’ve encountered ! Pat on the shoulders to the creators and developers no doubt about it !
