Great game

The game is great with a nice story to tell. I found myself more and more intrigued with how the case progressed as I went through the episodes and I found myself longing for an answer to know who murdered Jerome. The immersion and gameplay aspects were very well handled. My only problem with the game is that it tends to crash a bit, especially in the last two episodes. When the game crashed I found that I couldn’t progress further upon reloading as some of the options for conversations needed for game progress suddenly didn’t show up anymore and I was forced to replay the entire episode scenario once more from scratch. This gets a bit irritating if it happens 2-3 times on the same episode. I faced the same issue when I received a call in the middle of an episode and suddenly the game considered it as me quitting and progress was denied. All things considered I would rate it a solid 8/10. I removed points only due to my frustrations with the crashes and redoing of plot required.

A must-try

Found this while looking for more interactive and ‘found phone’ games. First thing to note is that it’s better to get the version of this that has all the mini stories as well as the two big main ones. The mini stories aren’t as in depth but they’re still very well done. They also seem to add more stories quite often. You do have to wait a certain amount of time to unlock the next chapter in the mini stories, this can be anywhere between 30 mins to a couple hours. But I found that by going through each one, by the time I’d done that, some were available to carry on with again. So the virtual coins are a waste of time and not needed. The only downside about the mini stories is that although they’re very detailed, there’s hardly any feeling that your choices matter in them at any point- however, they are much smaller files so it’s par for the course. However, the two bigger stories Redman and Unmasked are excellent. I’ve played through everything and these two are deffo very well done on all fronts. Great immersion, great acting, great style and right on the nose with some of our real life world issues. The 6th chapter of each one even lets you replay the last part, to see how one choice you made could have had a much different outcome. I’ve had several late nights with this app already, I really enjoy it and hope another big story is coming soon! Fantastic work guys 🥰

Really enjoyable/ see below for update

This game screams high production values on every level, it must have taken a lot of work to make and I can’t believe it’s free, it’s better than most paid games, normally interactive stories bore me and I’ve no patience scrolling texts but this is truly immersive and exciting, with twists round each corner, the music alone is fantastic, add to that the writing ( lingo thoroughly researched) the brilliant characters and game layout and you have a stand out gaming experience. I especially love the intro music and camera work. Very talented developers and I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase a game from them in the future. Edit: so this great team is now called Scriptic and have brought out their second series about an influencer online and it’s really great. I purchased the season it is quite expensive but well worth it, it looks like season one is now available to buy I feel lucky I caught it early on. This team deserves to make money from such great content, I hope ppl support them and put their hand in their pockets. I will definitely buy a season 3 based on how great 2 was. Also I loved the idea of being a 999 operator in the free content and would love more of these? Great idea!
