Generally performing very well, However I still cannot acess the configuration facility, it is always disconnected try later. I cannot access the screen editing facility through the App. The device disconnects from the phone Bluetooth when the Bluetooth screen is exited. However all exercise records are retained. No information is lost. Even if the device is removed and repaired.

Thanks to Jerome I am now able to access the configuration facility which is essential for the ease of operation. I have also started to use the online facilities giving me a larger overall view of my activities.

myGeonaute was better

I have several problems with using the Decathlon Connect app with my OnMove 220:

1) Initial connection between watch and device is slow, and requires several attempts.

2) Synchronisation does not allow the option of choosing which sessions to upload, so deletion after every upload is necessary otherwise all old sessions get reuploaded each time.

3) With myGeonaute, prior to uploading it was possible to edit the activities, choosing between run, ride, swim etc. With the new Decathlon Connect app this is not possible. All activities are set to running by default, requiring editing of each activity manually afterwards.

4) This is especially annoying when using the automatic forwarding of the activity to Strava, which then also requires editing. I have received comments and kudos for an absurdly fast run, because I was on my bike and didn’t immediately edit the activity.

5) There is no option to differentiate between ‘ride’ and ‘MTB’.

In conclusion, this app is vastly inferior to its predecessor, and I am considering upgrading to a Garmin to avoid using Decathlon Connect.

Firstly, are you're using the last available firmware for your watch ? If a message shows up on the app requiring you to upgrade it, could you please fill-up this form so that our support team can help with this task ?

2) You can go your settings section, click on your device and switch on "Delete activity in the watch after transfer". This would solve the issue and this is the setting per default.

3) We're currently working on small improvements regarding to facilitate the edition feature. Sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime.

While we will be making several changes that will improve your experience in the upcoming months, I doubt we will offer the ability to edit an activity before synchronizing it to the app. This is because we handle many devices working differently. Nevertheless, I hope the improvements we will bring over the upcoming months will help with some of the problems you encounter.

Lacking

Does not automatically synchronise with my watch, doesn’t provide as in-depth data as the watch or Apple health- I have set it to provide data for Apple health but then it doesn’t seem to work??
Also, I just tried manually synchronising with watch and it deleted all the data from my watch and from the app- why? I don’t know. I like my watch a lot, but the app makes it difficult.
