defo recommend<3

i actually saw this on TikTok in the middle of fashion class and immediately thought it wouldn't work. it sounded too good to be true and i was taught if something sounds too good to be true, then it is. but this isn't! i downloaded it and to my surprise it worked soso well, both today and yesterday ive been downloading tons of games i played when i was a little girl and it's so nostalgic for me, it's saved me so much money now I don't need to buy physical copies of these games! I only have one complaint, but it's hopefully something they'll add in a later update; it's that it's only Nintendo consoles, going up to the DS. it's definitely not worth giving them 4 stars instead of 5 over because this app is relatively new, just thought id give my two cents in case the developers read this; the app has overwhelmingly positive reviews, which it deserves, so hopefully they will in fact add later consoles like the Wii or maybe some non-Nintendo consoles like the PlayStation 🩷🩷 but that aside i 100% recommend, there's tons of tutorials on tiktok and online to help if you ever get stuck but it's genuinely super simple<3

Get this app now, why are you still reading.

Honestly been waiting for an app like this of this quality for the iPhone. Playing all the OG Pokemon games bring back memories of childhood. You reading this, yes you! Download this app now then go find some ROMs then enjoy what is left of this world reliving youth. Download the app, do it! Why are you still here reading this, do it now. Honestly playing Golden Eye, Pokemon, Aladdin etc wherever whenever you want is amazing. Can’t wait for PS games to be added then I may as well delete my social media because I’ll be playing this most of the time. Can’t believe you’re still reading this review and not download the app yet, what’s wrong someone stole your sweet roll? No seriously it’s great in the time you read this you could have already started playing. Go on do it!

Finally a Good Emulator! iPad Version Please 人 ´∀`)

This is a really good emulator and if you’re just using it on an iPhone, it’s not just good, it’s great. It has a very polished look, and I’ve noticed that the input latency on my iPad Pro using a switch pro controller is better than anything else that I’ve tried, which is very impressive. I would almost never play emulated games using touch controls, but for those few times when I would do that, I think that the hold button option within the in-game menu is a really clever idea.

However, I think it’s a bit frustrating that Riley has an iPad version of this app. It’s already complete. He doesn’t need to do anything to it (see his Patreon for details), but he chose to not put that on the App Store, just the iPhone version. So iPad users are left with an iPhone app that only fills part of the screen.

Anyway, I’ve been having a blast playing through my N64 collection again on my iPad, using this, and it’s just shown me once again that the iPad and iPhone are the ideal platforms for playing retro games.
