The part of Destiny 2 I was missing!!!

Bungie needs to push this app more! Been a D2 player since day one launch on PC. Struggled as a solo player for so long as no one I know plays, or wants to, and it meant I couldn’t do alot of the content (not just raids either). Having previously put it down to bungie hating single players, and accepted it, I have just now discovered this app. Lo and behold I have discovered the actual Destiny community and can join or host fire teams for any of the content... And people actually use it (someone joined my first fireteam in about 10 seconds). Not sure how long this app has been about but it has changed the game for me, and single players must get it to connect with people, or even your clan.

Oh and you can fully manage bounties, inventory/vault, and buy stuff, right from the app. Amazing if you’ve landed on a planet and forget to get gunsmith bounties from the tower.

D2 review

I’m enjoying destiny 2 the last wish season very much , I’m a d2 veteran and have been with bungie and the destiny family since the beginning, can’t wait to see what’s under the hood of the last wish so will definitely keep you posted, as a d2 veteran I would love to play the red war campaign again it was the first experience I had with destiny 2 and I do wish and hope you bring it back in the future as do a lot of other D2 players the DCV is something that you should really see about bringing back the true contents but I understand that there’s a lot to bring back best wishes James aka acidicsole

So Unreliable

This app has so many problems that I don’t even know where to start. It’s so unreliable to use for checking new content, articles in the “This Week At Bungie” update feed, sometimes I can’t even check my messages and transferring gear is so bad, I often have to do it manually through the game, which means having to log in and out of all my characters and transfer things to and from the vault. This takes up so much time and sometimes it just doesn’t feel worth it! The app is so glitchy and unreliable I have switched to Ishtar Commander for easy transfers.
The only thing available in the app is clan chat and the clan I’m in doesn’t even use it, we use and app called Band, which is more comprehensive, interactive and organised. The Destiny 2 companion doesn’t even give you proper notifications as messages are being sent. I had no idea I had messaged for two days until I manually checked the app itself.
Alongside the short story lines, expensive DLC and microtransactions, I feel like Destiny isn’t as good as it used to be.
