DPD Saturn 4+

This app is not very good at all. It loses connection a lot, l have to reboot my iPhone 13 Pro Max about 20 times a day while lm delivering parcels which is so time consuming. You would think they would have an app that works a lot better than this.

The app regularly crashes and fails to load into any of the selected map options. It regularly gets stuck on the black screen I guess is used for privacy. Sometimes when the bottom of the screen is touches say when carrying parcels, when ye come back to use the app the screen is just black and have to reboot the app to get it to work.

The new update to speed up the scanning is welcomed but one real major annoyance is the beeping whilst scanning any label. Instead of using a system sound, it uses a music file so it is constantly stopping the music/podcast I’m listing to and takes over instead of just lowering the volume as it would if the sound file was used properly. Any generic beep would suffice to indicate that the parcel/label has been scanned correctly. Given an option to silence the beep and have the phone vibrate would be another great option given we’re scanning 200 parcels a day on road and having to restart my music/podcast 200 times gets old very quick.

Efforts should be in this order : reliability-speed-features.
Allow us to type name in portrait mode, no need for landscape as no signature is needed.
Get rid of nfc tag, would like to have a spare phone in case i can’t use the main one, can’t swap phone in middle of route because nfc is required.
Force the app to start nav in driving mode, pretty sure no one need walking mode.
If possible make animations faster.
For iphone make it use the main camera, not the wide angle, main camera is much better.
On iphone if you touch the small apps bar at the bottom sometimes the screen goes black and you need to restart the app. No problem when you have good connection but if you don’t is a pain.
Swiping left or right on a stop could easily be replaced with buttons, no one needs swipe gestures, very annoying sometimes.
VERRY IMPORTANT! get rid of the annoying voice that speaks when calling customer, loosing precious minutes on that and we get it: be nice to people you phone.
Calling customers should work when you don’t have internet connection as well, what about drivers who deliver at farms and no signal areas ???

Long review but please read and if possible fix/change.
