Fed up again!!

Total frustration of the number of buses that simply don’t turn up. Stopped using EYMS and went back to the car. Had a go again this morning and lo & behold the app tells me the bus is due in 2mins. Great. 2 mins later it’s disappeared. And now there’s one due in 11 mins!!! Yes... it was highlighted in green, not black so was supposedly “live” . This happens very very often before I gave up and went back to the car 3 months ago. I will keep trying the buses intermittently. But until the service improves and the hit and miss “live” (is it really going to show) display on the App improves, you can count me out🙁 Oh and by the way.... this is the 66 route.

Brilliant app

Being able to check if the bus is running late and avoid waiting for ages at the local stop is great.

Having an OAP free bus pass means I can pop on a bus to the next village, pick up a few shopping items and catch a return bus only a few mins later. I can see if both busses are running on time to judge if it’s viable to make the trip or catch a later one.

The timetable part is OK, but the live bus times part is brilliant.

Slow and steady doesn’t win the race

The app is fine, when it wants to work. Sometimes it doesn’t show that your bud is going to arrive, you’re waiting and waiting sometimes it does and that’s great but sometimes it doesn’t. The amount of buses that have cancelled in the past month or so is ridiculous. When it does show up (and that’s anywhere) you can count on it being 5 minutes late or more. I used to work in Melton and on the way home my bus was about 20+ minutes late every day quite frankly that’s embarrassing. Don’t know what’s been going on recently with the app and the actual service but something needs to change
