What have you done to a good App
The old version was great and this updated version simply does not work. Luckily I remembered roughly what to do and just managed to get the timer on.
Needs work on UX
When you first get to the section with steps you see “Step 1. Place eggs in saucepan and cover with cold water” and then a “Start timer” button. I’d already started my water boiling before launching the app so I took the above literally.
However it actually wants you to only start the timer in Step 3 after the water has come to the boil and you’ve then turned off the heat.
Why is the button there before Step 3?
Worse than bad
Latest version was forced onto my iPad and only works portrait so I have to stand my iPad up on the end of its case or bend my neck at 90 degrees. The button on the first screen to go into custom settings is slap bang on top of the poached and fried buttons - very unsightly and unprofessional.
I’ll be dumping this program for another. Why change something that was working properly?
Wanted to rate it 0 stars but software won’t allow that.
