myMail: email app for Gmail 4+

Never ever again will I return to the Outllook app. I searched for an app that allows you to empty junk/spam with one action - outllook you have to delete each message individually. The app is so easy to use and seems totally designed for easy utility. Took me only a little while to work out how it is set up and now Its is so easy to access mail and empty complete spam folders without having to highlight every mail. Other good features- variety of themes, easy to find and access unread mails. Much easier to manage folders and move mail. Not given 5* as only been using 3 days so will comeback in a month and add the final star if all is still good - now amended about two years on - still a good app

No option to block senders

Why is there no option to block sender/spammail from either the inbox or spam folders?!! Mymail works ok for the most part, but it is still let down for me because although notifications are all set to on I don't actually get notified when I receive and email and I do have to manually check to see if I have new mail. I'm running the app on an iPhone 15pro max with ios17.4.1 I would like to also suggest about putting all emails from 1 person to be in a single feed like most other mail apps and not have numerous feeds from the same person especially when the messages are from the same conversation. Also the adverts are annoying, it's a shame you don't allow to purchase the app for a one off small fee for basic sending and receiving.
Update; still not receiving any form of notifications from the app when new mail comes through and still having to check manually on regular basis to make sure I don't miss important emails

Delays updating mail app also connection problems

This App used to be good, but do not know what has happened recently 🙄

The app now takes ages to update when an email is received. I have other Mail applications and they are updated instantly. Very annoying when you see an email has arrived, but cannot view it as it does not update. I did give feedback to this affect and was just fobbed off with the reply that it normally takes 5 to 15 minutes to update. In my opinion this is a shameful attitude to have and give to customers who use this app.

Also second gripe is that many times when using the Wi-fi and 4g the app will not even connect ! Again I received no response apart from being asked to give some diagnostic report. This I was unable to do so as they made it impossible to understand what they were saying. When I said I did not understand they just came back with the response of it takes 5 to 10 minutes to update. Seems they have a no care attitude !
