Enigmo 2 4+

I hadn't bought the first un, but good grief what an introduction. Yep, as others have said, the 3d controls can be a bit of a funk. And this probably isnt a five minute toilet game. But the intricacy and depth of the gameplay is staggering. Trying to position and rotate objects with three axes of position and rotation provides some awesome mental gymnastics. And the graphics are outstanding. Really really innovative, outstanding work by the developers. I wish there were more games that were this astoundingly innovative; but then again, if there were, I guess it kinda wouldn't be innovation. Fantastic.

I loved the first version of this, I played it a lot and what-not, so when I say a second version I bought it straight away, especially as it was 3D and so you had more to work on that the one platform... however, I didn't rate it is much as I would have rated the original. Don't get me wrong, it is still fun, however the gameplay is difficult to grasp, you now have to place them in and out as well as up, down, left and right, which, if you have moved it on one dimension accidentally, is annoying trying to sort out again.

The objects used as well annoyed me. Rather than the purple for low bounce, red for medium bounce and yellow for high, they are mostly the same colour and have different styles, which confused me at first, and still does occasionally if I am trying to beat the bonus timer.

I liked the addition of other mediums, instead of just water drops... lasers shoot in a straight line and bounce of shiny surfaces (including some bounce blocks) and the Plasmoids follow gravity with another tool to play with... this was probably one of the best additions, however, getting the gravity close enough to affect it, but not to close was a fine art... however, this add's to the fun doesn't it =D

I like the mechanics of this game, I also like the way the puzzles change from water to plasma and/or LASERs I love puzzle games and although I think this game is clever, I would agree that there are a few flaws, when placing parts, it's difficult to see where you're positioning them exactly because your finger is in the way, the only clear way to do this is to zoom in close, but then you can't see the rest of the grid, I think it would be better if there were an offset point next to the part and you could move it using this instead, that way you could see the part clearly, I haven't played the first game but I might give it a go, as it sounds a little bit simpler.
