EquateMobile is the companion app for EquatePlus, the equity compensation platform offered by Computershare and Equatex, part of the Computershare Group.
The app provides an easy-to-read overview of your equity compensation plan(s)’s value and performance, and a comprehensive overview of all relevant and plan-related events. You can enter and manage trades, and access your elections, documents, statements and agreements.
Download our app today and login immediately. Use the same user ID and password you use for the web application, EquatePlus. If you need help, you can contact us 24/7 – phone numbers are available in the app or through EquatePlus.
Requirements:
• Your employer, or the company your equity compensation plan is with, must have authorized use of the mobile app as part of their agreement with Computershare or Equatex.
• You have logged in to the web application, EquatePlus, and have a valid User ID and password.

Ratings and Reviews
Simple and effective
A good app with user friendly interface. Some of the controls are not entirely intuitive, so it’s not obvious at first glance how to view certain aspects of your portfolio, but once you’ve found your way through, everything you need is there. Apart from that, it would’ve been five stars. Maybe make objects that are switches/buttons more obviously so?
Terrible
The app is absolutely terrible. It’s very slow, likes to freeze a lot. Many a time it has asked me to log in again when I’m already logged in. And it will also tell you that you haven’t got any internet when every other app/browser on your phone works fine.
The website isn’t much better. The company themselves are even worse. And don’t even get me started on trying to withdraw your shares. I’ve been waiting 3 months for someone to fix this so I can withdraw my money. Every agent I’ve spoken to on the phone confirms there is nothing more I can do, ‘everything is in place’ ‘the technical team will get back to you’…yet they hold on to my money and NEVER get back to me. They must be earning plenty of interest on everyone’s funds they’re refusing to give back.
Basically, had I had a choice in the platform I could have used for these shares I would not have used this one, but they were previous employer shares.
No landscape support
App needs to provide landscape support for iPad users with keyboards etc. The natural orientation for using an iPad with a keyboard, or when in many cases, is in landscape. This app is next to useless as a result as it does not provide landscape support.
Update: The developer suggested using the browser on an iPad as the “app works best on mobile phones, and the website has been optimised for iPad”. Well, i moved to using the app on iPad because the website was so useless on an iPad, especially in document handling and downloading. So the devs have more work to do there than. Also, if the app is not supposed to be used on an iPad, why make it available on an iPad? The app and the website both need work! Dropping to one star rating!
