Overall I think it’s an okay albeit being a little clunky. The security on this app is diabolical. I don’t understand what the purpose of switching on two factor authentication or Face ID is for when during some updates it decides to reboot your settings and then you personally have to realise this and go to settings and switch it back on again. Since the beginning I have found this to be an issue. Please check on your security protocols 🙏 Also, how come you suddenly removed WISE method of depositing cash into my wallet? There was no prior warning or no answers given still by the customer service and it’s been months. It’s just a debit card so what is the big deal? One minute it works and the next it doesn’t. And everyone seems to be passing the Buck without giving a straight answer….. Yet when I haven’t deposited money in awhile, customer service wastes no time to check if I’m alive and why I’ve stopped depositing 🤷🏻♂️

Poor customer services but nice looking app

I signed up to use this app and went though all my verifications - which took some time (as expected). I then went to deposit funds and it stated that since I was in the USA I couldn’t do so. I am not in the US, nor does my UK address have anything to do with the US. I contacted customer services by email and received no reply for days. Then did so again, and again. Finally someone came back to me with a standard response of ‘we do not accept deposits from the US’ - clearly not having really read my emails. After more emails I sent a new request to simply delete my account so I can start all over again, but a week later nothing has been done.All apps and companies have bugs/problems from time to time. Especially when growing. However what you need to know is that when those bugs occur that you have good customer services to back you up. When I’m trusting my money (potentially large amounts) to a company - I want to know there is someone who’s going to help if there’s a problem. No telephone number, no real support on such a basic level. Ive now heard of other people being locked out of accounts etc - something I’d ignore if I’d not had an experience like this. Now debating whether it’s worth the risk and looking for alternatives. I will edit this review if anything changes.

For everyone who think eToro will make him/her rich(eToro is not a charity!), the only thing they care about is taking fees and money from you! I’ve been using eToro for about 5 months and now I warn you from using it. You must deposit at least 1000 dollars to use your real account and for each withdrawal request you will pay 25 dollars fees.First of all, they don’t have a customer service!!!! It’s all robotic so you can never speak to a human. Secondly, you can very easily deposit money in your account BUT once you want to take your money out especially if you by some kind of miracle made some profits! They will ask you lots of questions and plus it’s will take ages. Thirdly, in order to be able to use a real account they need to verify your ID, Passport, bank account, and home address and it will take it least a month. So they will know every single thing about you. There is something really important that they will never tell you about unless you ask and search for it, your account could end up in MINUS meaning you loss all the money in you account by just one small sudden movement in the market if you’re using the leverage which you must use to make real profits and that’s not the worst part I said your account could end up in minus so you must pay eToro extra money( this extra money could be hundreds or thousands dollars)

WITHOUT A DOUBT THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. My first trade on etoro I placed enough money with to have a dedicated account manager. I bought the S&P500. I immediately saw my money dropping at an alarming rate, and it continued rapidly. In a panic I called my account manager and he said I had 20x leverage, so any movement up or down was multiplied by 20x. Scam 1. Their purchase checkout system had BY DEFAULT 20x leverage and as a new trader did so unknowingly. Scam 2. I immediately checked their S&P500 movement from my purchase time and compared it to others like yahoo finance. Yahoo finance was up when eToro went down. Scam 3. even though I complained bitterly to my account manager he said there was nothing he could do. Scam 4. If you buy with leverage they charge you a lot everyday without telling you. I only discovered this after questioning where my money was going daily. Scam 5. Etoro automatically sold my shares at and closed my account WITHOUT WARNING saying the country I live in was no longer supported, saying I had 30 days to withdraw my money. Scam 6. It was very difficult to withdraw the money within the 30 days and my account manager said he could not help me and put me onto their useless general customer service.
