Disappointed in recent upgrade
I’ve been a user of the Eurosport App for many years now, and I’ve loved using it......
but following their recent upgrade, I find their written news updates very frustrating. Every news article has a video advert that plays above the article (which you can’t skip until after 6-8 seconds) and then once the Skip Ad options appear, you then have to quickly press pause to stop a random sports interview from playing.
All I want to do is read a written article in peace, sometimes quietly as my 2 year old daughter is asleep next to me.
I hope this recent update is short lived and changed, as it really is a frustrating one which will have me looking to change my choice of sports app, if not.

Spoiler problems!! Old version much better!
Despite selecting the ‘avoid spoiler’ option in the app, on some occasions it won’t launch ‘watch’ function and then in order to try to get it working selection of home page yields massive spoilers!
I go to Eurosport I want to watch content not receive annoying “live updates”. If I wanted them I would go to a news site.
EuroSport just pulled support for tvOS
I’ve used the tvOS version of this app since the original Apple TV 4k device launched. On that device 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Why EuroSport have pulled that tvOS app is mind boggling. I needed to reinstall it last night which is when I discovered it’s missing. I had an email from “Support” this morning inviting me to enjoy the app on my iPhone or iPad, possibly using Airplay (🤪) if I wanted it on the big screen. Why they believe that’s acceptable or that I’d want to tie up a mobile device in that way speaks to just how out of touch they are. So I now the app gets just two stars because using it on and tying up a mobile device with a small screen and tinny speakers compared to a 60” plasma display and home theatre speakers deserves no more. 🤬
