A few problems at the moment, but great magazine

They do have a few problems with there software at the moment, but it's great magazine and the app normally works really well. The customer service I got was very good indeed. We just need to bare with them I think.

Well and truly off the boil

I recently cancelled my subscription after being a reader since Evo launch in 1998. For me the magazine is a shadow of its former self. Considering its the only performance car magazine, I'm disappointed that all road tests now carried out by the title lack performance data - in-gear stats, etc. - that Autocar and other titles offer. Yes, the content is well written, but sorry guys, other magazines are equally so. I lament the passing of Performance Car magazine - and its brief relaunch a few years back - which covered all the bases I think you should. Until you bring those tests back, I won't be returning to the Evo fold.
Now having a Readly subscription which allows access to European magazines, it is shocking how poor this title is in the thoroughness of road tests and quantity and variety of cars tested. I suggest Evo takes a look at titles such as Auto Bild Sportscars and Sport Auto to see how it's done properly.

You’ve gone backwards!?

You’ve gone backwards.....?! It’s terrible, why I am I viewing a pdf of the actual magazine and not the prior superior digital version. In 2020 this is very disappointing. I love the content and style of EVO but this is enough for me to revoke the digital subscription and just get the physical magazine version. In 2020 this is very disappointing. I love the content and style of EVO but this is enough for me to revoke the digital subscription and just get the physical magazine print. I thought this was a bug and flagged it with the dev team. Essentially the response I got back is this is how it is now. So I’ve now got to manually zoom in (on iPhone). You’ve returned to a gen1 reading app from 2010. Top Gear, Car all offer a better experience. Very disappointing approach from such a great publication.
