Expert Controller Plus enables the operation and management of SPE Expert RF amplifiers using either a USB, RS-232 or TCP/IP (requires third-party network/serial adapter) connection. It has been designed to provide a similar user experience to the SPE, MS-Windows application and the front-panel of an amplifier. Therefore, the application's user interface should be familiar to all amplifier owners. Expert Controller Plus contains all the features found in its predecessor, Expert Controller, and adds the following key capabilities: Simultaneous control/management of multiple Expert amplifiers, support for Expert 1K-FA Series II and Series III amplifiers, support for deployments with RF Combiners, Modbus TCP for remote site power on/off operations, resizable LCD windows, improved Accessibility and improved performance. The application offers multiple, user-selectable, views of amplifiers including LCD panel and control buttons, LCD panel only, Control buttons only, LED's only. These views are supported by a comprehensive range of settings for each amplifier that may be adjusted to provide a tailored experience. Most Expert amplifier front-panel operations are supported by the App including, Power on/off, Input selection, Antenna selection, Operate and Set modes. Note: Amplifier firmware updates are not supported. For each Expert amplifier, Expert Controller Plus wraps associated settings into a Connection. Multiple Connection's may be defined and associated using Groups. Groups may be used to assist the operation and management of multiple amplifiers and using Groups the App is able to support RF Power combiners such as the SPE CO1-2. Expert Controller Plus supports accessibility with Accessibility Labels and Hints for user interface elements. Additionally it provides an 'Announce' feature that provides a spoken, audible status report for amplifiers. The report is configurable and may contain parameters such as: Tx/Rx mode, Band, Output power, Antenna SWR etc. The App has a detailed User Guide which is available together with other support materials on the developers support site. The full-featured version is free to download and trial for 30 days after which a one-time In-App purchase is required to continue using the App. Requirements: - MacOS 14 or later - A USB/RS-232 interface supported by macOS or - a TCP/IP network connection to a network/serial adapter that is connected to a supported amplifier.
