No longer receive notifications

I have three cameras connected to this app. Unfortunately for the last 3 - 4 weeks movement notifications have stopped, which makes the whole thing pretty pointless.
Update 24 Sep 2019: The app is now working properly without having to log out and in again; and pleased to see a quick response from the developer.

Don’t waste your money or time!!

Absolute rubbish, not just the app but their products overall. I have an IP cam, I use a 64gb SD card to record and NEVER does the app playback and when it does, it RUINS the recordings. The whole system is pathetic. All my recordings NEVER work, some play for about 10 seconds then freeze, become pixelated and unable to play again or any others. When I transfer the memory card to the PC to playback using THEIR software, all recordings which I’ve TRIED to playback via the app are corrupted. If your using this for, and depending on it for home security, DO NOT waste your money, spend a little more and buy something else. I’ve contacted the help desk numerous times, NEVER had a response and despite updating the camera with latest FW and always using the latest app, NEVER does this thing do what I want it to do. So, if your depending on this to record and watch playback remotely, don’t waste your money because it doesn’t work and is totally unfit for purpose. If I could I’d rate 0 stars.

RESPONSE: Appreciate your reply however I don’t understand why switching on, “record sound” will make a difference. Also, point 4 makes no sense. Please could you explain point number 4 regarding the “cache”. The model number is C7837WIP. For all intent and purposes, it corrupts the SD card, it never “connects” when the SD card is enclosed, when it does finally connect after formatting the SD card, it corrupts all recordings. Why?

Sorry to ask again. According to what I said to open the recording sound, at the moment you operate the camera, there is still no sound? On the fourth point, I need time to verify that ,you can try to replace the SD card.

Hello: As for your feedback, please make the following response: 1. The video file is 15 minutes as a file. 2. Make sure the camera recording sound is on (click Camera - Preferences - Memory Settings - Record Sound Switch Open); 3, the video is while playing the side of the cache, if encountered network poor will be cached, 4, on the computer to play, you can open http://www.eye4.so/download/, Download EYE4 For Windows.

Less cameras show on other devices

Hi I have been using vstarcam for quite sometime and my overall experiences tell me that both cams and app are reliable. I just bought more cameras and installed them all is good. Now I got 6 cams.

My iphone that used to set up these cameras got all 6 cams show in Eye4 app, however when I am in another country and use another iPhone, iPad or even the window pc to see them it only appears 4 out of 6 cams. The last two cams that I installed were not shown in the apps. This puzzles me a lot and have no idea why it only appears 4 cams. I let my relative check Eye4 in the iPhone that used to setup these and it still shows 6 BUT while I’m in the other country it only shows 4 on my current iPhone! I use the same account as the one that uses to set up this too.

I even try setting up another account and share the cams it works fine but the downside is I can amend or change any setups through the shared account. It doesn’t allow me to do it! If you can have a function that also give authorisation to the other user that you share cams too it would be wonderful!!

Could you help fix this problem please as in this COVID crisis time I can’t go home easily and these cams are very important to me as I use them to monitor my love one’s health and safety at home.
