Seems to work well. And tried a few times too make sure it always gave same result (which it did). And free.

Killed by Big Brother Opticians?

It’s a well known fact (at least in UK) that the big brand opticians are reluctant to ever inform you of your own IPD for the simple reason that armed with that measurement you will immediately go online; where prices don’t involve selling your first born for 2 pairs of plastic frames with lenses ground by machine at the touch of a button.

My tin foil hat might be showing, but I suspect the devs of this simple App, that gives power to the consumer, has been suppressed with the money big chain opticians have been happy to wring out of us all.

Heights proving an issue

This app gets the PD pretty dead on, however it’s really struggling to measure heights in a frame. Haven’t once managed to get it to measure heights. It just keeps saying put on your clear pair of glasses.. which I have.. Also no guidance on how to use the app in terms of what you’re meant to be looking at. This would be useful
