Great improvements

Some great improvements to the app this year which as a user of Liv and Mashreq make this far more usable as a banking app. Actually closing Mashreq account due to the number of issues I have with it!

Clear layout and access to main banking functions, does what you need from a banking app and makes life a lot easier

Pretty rubbish

As banking apps go this continues to be one of the poor ones.
Good points - facial recognition to login, easy to see your main account balance, templates for transfers to other accounts in UAE and other countries (can be saved), online payment of credit cards.
Bad points - extremely muddled and in fact incorrect presentation of credit cards and supplementary cards and their transactions, continues to show some (but not all) blocked and expired cards even after the user designating favourites or cards being replaced. Even the supplementary card shows before my own cards! Most of the time the app mixes the transactions of different cards under the wrong card. I end up relying on the text messages, PDF or printed statements because the app is so poor.
Despite raising the shortcomings on several versions ago it is still an issue today!

Worst update ever!

Ive been using you bank and app for many years and never had an issue with your updates or re-registering. This time though I have deleted the app and reinstalled 5 or 6 times and tried to register upwards of 15 times and it stalls at the same point every time —— the ‘check if you’re alive’ function does not work! And you cant get past it!

Ive made repeated complaints to the Bank technical team who refuse to acknowledge that theres an issue - they believe I am a robot, dead or not human, as this logically can be the only reason why I’m not able to register…🤷🏼‍♀️ erm maybe theres an issue with the app rather than the person?

Please resolve this issue! (Why you cant use the same facial recognition software as the phone, that works, is beyond me!)
