Description

You are balanced on the edge of a cliff in an old rusting car.

The sun is setting behind the horizon and night will soon fall. With no immediate means of escape, perhaps all that's left is to attempt to feel some connection with the world at the end of it all.

Far from Noise is a story told through dialogue choices. As day fades to night, experience quiet moments of interaction with a variety of creatures and witness the transformative forces of nature as they happen around you. Through conversation with a welcome companion, begin to discover your reasons for being out there, your relationship with the world, life and death, and if you'll see tomorrow.

Includes

- A dynamic, naturally flowing conversation
- Multiple endings driven by choices that shape the narrative
- An original musical score by Geoff Lentin that flows with the story
- A rich landscape that shifts and fades as time progresses
- Narrative events that change with multiple playthroughs

Thought provoking and peaceful

I enjoyed this and felt completely immersed whilst playing. I say ‘playing’ for want of another word, as this is not so much a game but an experience. It’s a beautifully made, gentle and thoughtful story that is cleverly affected by the choices made throughout. I loved the style of graphics which I thought were perfect; not too much going on to detract from the experience, and beautifully artistic and dreamy. If you’re looking for something different to help unwind, shut out the noise of life and lose yourself for a short time then give it a try.

Best, game, ever. REALLY WORTH IT!!!!

First, ignore "FC duffledork" that is a few comments down, they give no reason to hate it apart from repeat themselves.
Also, is good for mental problems!!!

This game is 100% positive quotes, the graphics ARE amazing. It's the style after all, and not every game is perfect. But this..I say I did NOT waste my 2.99 and my 1 hour of playing it. The conversation is so memorable. And, beautiful. The stars, the horizon is so amazing to watch and draw. The ending is so powerful, great enough to make a person cry!! And worthy. It's similar to the tell tale games, when you choose what to say and it leads to a different story/path.

Well done on making such a mind blowing experience, the quotes in the game.. to be honest, this is like a game for when you are down.. need someone to talk too. Well, here it is. It makes me happy when I'm sad actually, it's helped me with a lot of problems. Thank you!!!

Beautiful

This is beautiful. If you're looking for a action packed adventure, this won't be your thing. Instead you have a thought provoking, mesmerising story which feels like it's taken inspiration from some aspects of cognitive behavioural therapy and certainly mindfulness. I could weirdly relate to the girl in the car, her thoughts and feelings. The writing is witty and at times very funny.

If you want an app to calm the soul, this is it.
