Excellent app and developers.
If only all app developers where as good as these, they respect privacy, one off payment and a great stable app. This is one of those apps I don’t need that often but it’s also one of the last apps I would delete. It has saved the day so many times. It’s simply brilliant.
Makes file sharing while on the go simple. File sharing is simple when it’s with other Apple devices but now my iOS devices easily file share with non Apple devices too 😃
FileBrowser has (to date) has always got my files to where I need them, this includes my website, other computers on the network, my colleagues non iOS devices, even the lighting consoles I work on. It’s a great app with developers that listen to feedback and constantly add new and useful features. Thanks for making a great app while respecting users privacy.
An essential iPad app
Using an iPad is a great experience until it comes to file management, then it can become a pain to do tasks such as copying a file from an attached SSD to a NAS etc.
FB Pro is my go to app, one of my earliest experience was Directory Opus on the Amiga, so I have a Shortcut saved to the home screen for a dual window FB Pro, split 2/3 of screen on left and 1/3 on right.
This makes file management so easy and in many respects I often sit down while watching TV moving files from my Mac to PC or NAS all from the comfort of my iPad.
The price is very reasonable, the developer has avoided the subscription model, and adds new features at regular intervals, my only real suggestion to improve the app would be to enhance the crop image facility to a freehand one.
Apart from that, this is literally the app that has kept me using an iPad Pro
Everything in one app
I paid for FileBrowser Pro because the original app was so great that I wanted to support the developer. I think it's really worth doing that when they create apps as good as this.
It really does contain everything you need for file management. I've got it connecting to my Mac, to my photos, to all my cloud documents and more. It lets you connect to Google Drive, Dropbox and others. You really don't need anything else - this app does everything on every file service. And that includes recording and playing hi res audio and video files. You can do pretty much everything in this app.
The developers have done such a great job - this app is really worth your money.
