Description
FingerWorks is a free, educational tool to learn the notes on a fretboard of a guitar.
FingerWorks is best used with a guitar teacher or a coach but can, of course, be used alone.
FingerWorks gives you a note to locate starting on the 6th string of your guitar. Based on your settings you will have to find the next note on the next string, which is shown on the screen.
For beginners it is recommended to only use the software with the 6th string alone since this exercise can become mind-bending very quickly for a novice. From there, add one string at a time until you become fluent with all of the notes on the guitar neck!
A left-handed mode is available so you can see the guitar neck the way you play!
The idea of FingerWorks came from a real exercise practiced every day with a guitar teacher, but now you have access to your own virtual guitar teacher on your Mac!

Nice idea - BUT - the fretboard is upside down to me.
Every fretboard diagram I have has the nut to the left and the low E string at the bottom - i.e. the view I get if I hold my guitar neck normally and simply twist it up 45 degrees so it’s flat.
That’s the way all the TAB I use is written also.
So this all looks upside down to me and I find it confusing to try to use.
Any chance of an update rotating the fretboard display through 180 degrees?

Thanks for working on this app, good concept, keep going! Saddly not useful for me at the moment.
As per the other reviewer,
* The fretboard needs to align to a TAB view of the world, please flip.
* To practice at speed I would suggest the need to call out the string name and note as two different coordinates. - C# on A String
