FlyLadyPlus 4+

I have tried FlyLady a few times over the years, but I struggle to make the routines stick using a paper journal or even manually entering tasks on my computer or phone so I would lose track of what I should do and then give up. I actually use my iPad a lot, so an app listing the tasks gives me a fantastic starting point, and I love the fact that I can edit and rename the tasks to suit my house arrangement, without having to tediously re-input lots of information. For once I’ve hit the ground running! A quick check through the routines and zone lists and I can see what still needs to be done, and a quick tap to mark a task as done makes it so quick and easy - I’m not feeling so overwhelmed by it all! So grateful for this app; it’s early days yet, but this is the easiest way so far I have found to track my routines and I am loving it. Thank you!

I have returned to the FLYlady system after quite a few years of abstinence. This app appealed to me because a paper based control journal does not fit in to my digital lifestyle, but this app does. It shows my calendar, which is good but I can’t add things to it from the app which is disappointing perhaps that’s for premium users? The routines are just what I needed to get organised again and I love the way I can delete tasks and add new ones which suit my home. For example here in the uk we don’t often have large porches or a utility room. The FLYlady system is do-able and not about making you feel inadequate or overwhelmed -just baby steps to get things done and not obsessing, which stops me getting things done! Just do it! The most uplifting thing is that having returned after all the years, so many of her suggestions had become a habit and I hadn’t even realised or given myself credit for it. Overall, the app is really good for checking things off, but what is needed is a bit more personalisation- what does it mean that I am sapphire? That could be improved. I do love it though - give it a try it’s free!

I discovered FlyLady years ago, but like many I couldn’t handle all the emails, especially the religious ones-so I unsubscribed. I warily downloaded the app, but I’m delighted to say it’s been really helpful. I’m beginning to warm to the FlyLady messages, as I’m seeing the wisdom. The app is also much better because I’ve edited it to suit my home and chores. I’m following the advice and taking baby steps, and so far (about 10 days) my kitchen is much clearer. And I’m gradually adding new tasks. The key for me had been getting to grips with only doing a short time getting one part of a task done, this has been a mind shift, and a very helpful one. It’s lockdown, so hopefully I’ll be an able to maintain this in post lockdown normal life.
