Lovely food, although a little disappointed this time

We had another lovely takeaway last night, but we were a little disappointed. We always ask for one of our dishes to be spiced up in the notes but it doesn’t usually get read, so I make a point of ringing to ensure it gets put on the order. Usually this is done and the dish is beautifully spiced. Unfortunately it wasn’t done last night, so although the food was gorgeous, it would have been a bit nicer spicier as requested twice.
We also asked for the food to be ready at a certain time as the app wouldn’t let me choose, so I asked for this in the call and unfortunately i was notified 20 minutes before our collection time that it was ready, and we were nowhere near the takeaway meaning our food was sat waiting for a bit too long.
We will use this takeaway again as the food and service is always lovely, and just hope this was a one off!

Was god but now terrible

When I lived in Cheshire the app was great and the take aways fantastic but since I’ve come back to stoke the takeaways on her are mostly a joke, I’ve had orders never turn up then you contact food hub and all you get is “ well we know it’s frustrating but.....” tonight I placed an order for my kids and it came however it was incorrect so I tried calling the take away with no joy then contacted live chat and the advisor couldnt contact them either and I was advised to wait until later which meant more than half of the order would be no good by the time I got the replacement for what was wrong so they said send in an email which I did and I got an email back saying they were investigating, now some 6-7 hours later I’m still waiting for a response with bad food sat in the kitchen waiting for collection, I’ve emailed saying I’d like them to collect the food and pay a refund because it’s gone way past the kids bed time but it was a cash order so I’m not very hopeful of that, so seems they don’t keep much of a check on the take aways they advertise because ultimately it’s all money going through their system so all in all a bit of a joke

Brilliant truly brilliant

I messed up on my last order and put down collect. After 30 minutes they actually rang me and said your order is here waiting.. I said I’ve put delivery but they confirmed I hadn’t however they were absolutely brilliant as they’ve always been with other orders. They said they would cook fresh and deliver it. Twenty minutes later it was here red hot and even declining delivery charge. However I would of not felt easy ordering again so I paid it and tipped as a thank you.. In all the years we’ve ordered we have had one issue which was easily rectified. Thank you I would highly recommend and remember that during a pandemic their delivery orders are trebled so give a little food for thought.
