It sounds easy, but one bad move can ruin your chances of winning drastically so watch out for that sneaky computer - it will beat you if you're not careful.

Good game engine

Another surprise on the app store. This had a good game engine and surprising 8-bit sounds which suited the game well. Downsides are the short in app ads in between games. Still though, this is to be expected considering its a free app.

Challenging

I downloaded this for free. I used to love playing connect 4 as a kid. I was pretty good at it beating most people that I played. However, time seems to have had an effect on my past performance as this programme annoyingly beats me on most games even when I select beginner! The game is basic you just need to connect 4 in a row. The software does not easily navigate to a new game with you having to select on not so obvious icons to move to a new game. The programme keeps asking you to buy the game and keeps pulling up adverts to buy other games which is a little infuriating. If you want to play connect 4 this game does that albeit you probably won't win.

Great

Nice to play this without losing any of the chips as you do in the real version. It can get boring but don't play it for too long. Also it is customisable, you can change backgrounds, chips and also play against another human if you wish.
