Fourth’s Workforce Management solution:

Makes the lives of your managers and employees easier. Managers save hours every week by quickly building accurate schedules, and approving shift changes at the touch of a button. They can also publish open shifts, keep connected and stay on top of business performance on the go. Employees get more exact schedules, and can quickly and easily requests swaps, suggest unavailability, volunteer for open shifts, request time off and view payroll information, while staying connected with the business, their managers and their colleagues. Managers get out of the back office so they spend more time with their teams and customers, and employees feel happier and more engaged with the business, improving productivity, company culture and employee retention.

Fourth’s Purchase-to-Pay and Inventory Management solution:

Keeps operators on top of inventory by ensuring regular valuations are quickly and easily captured. Placing orders, completing inventory counts and goods receiving are completed on mobile devices, saving hours of time and eliminating errors caused by re-keying data. Actual Cost of Sales (COS) is easily calculated, and the gap between actual and theoretical is effectively highlighted and can be driven down as actual COS factors in all transactional data, daily sales and other account transfers and inventory movement. The result is better inventory management, ensuring you have sufficient products to meet demand while reducing waste and removing unnecessary administration.

Getting started with the Fourth App:

The Fourth App requires a Fourth Account to login, your employer needs to have given you access through an activation email and if you have any problems with access you should contact your line manager.

Server Connection Issues

Despite recent updates and improvements to combat connection failures, it seems they have made very little difference.

Try using WiFi... won’t connect, try on 4G... same problem. Restart phone, re-download and install app and still facing the same problem.

Sometimes have to wait a whole day before I can connect and see my work rota’s.
What is most frustrating is when you are in the middle of booking holidays off, then whilst loading the next page you hit an error and everything grinds to a halt.

The app is useful and has great potential, it’s just very unreliable.
I hope to see drastic improvements over the following weeks/months.

Dear Developers

I’m not sure if anyone that is controlling the app is aware that so much needs to be fixed. I’m gonna put a list of simple improvements to make the app better.

- App crashes when trying to close schedule

- When looking at payslips you’re unable to go back as there isn’t a button to go back or just a back button in general.

- App crashes when trying to open.

- App logs out when you try to close schedule.

- The app has a very choppy feeling to it but the other issues are way more important compared to this.

You guys made a recent update but everything is still the same, crashing constantly and having to struggle using an app that can be very useful is annoying. I hope the developers can hear me out on this review and make a change. Thank you.

What a disaster of an app

Awful. iPhone notch has been around since 2017 and they still haven’t updated their app to reflect this? Makes the HR section unusable as it puts the drop down selection box under the notch. Website on my mobile opens another page as set by fourth, which then tells me I cannot use it on another page. So unusable for me on my mobile.

Don’t know why my company uses them, their whole system is rubbish and whoever designed it doesn’t have much of a clue, they don’t listen to feedback for improvements.
