Great game, Developers listen to the players :)

At first when I got into the game I wrote a review and mentioned the bugs in game that made it hard to play. After listening to players and working on that, it’s made the game so addictive, there’s always something to do and I’m constantly on this game. I haven’t had any issues with the game since update and I’m pleasantly surprised and it definitely makes me want to play more.

I do think it could be play to win, but the constant earning of blades and power ups makes it very accessible to everyone.

The multiplayer games are great, the communication between the two players is a nice touch. I do find that I’ll go into some games and get placed with someone who’s at least 9 levels above me, they usually tend to win as they have better equipment to battle with. Not saying this is wrong, but I know more often than not I won’t win against someone of that level because our skill ratings aren’t similar.

Overall this is a fantastic game, the first one was played so much in my childhood and this is a great way to revive that great feeling.

absolutely terrible

multiplayer: fun for tournaments, pvp is god awful. 5 matches in at level 16 and i’m being matched against people the same level with me but with infinitely better power-ups - the result of pouring money down the drain into the game. this game’s pvp needs better balancing with cooldowns and scaling level of armoury items because i can’t get a foot in the door when the opponent uses abilities many times faster than i do, switching the colour of my fruit so i can’t get any points and my shield is on cooldown for 30 years. absolutely terrible.

ads and IAPs are horrendously predatory. you get barely any coins in the game to upgrade your items, add that to the expensive currency purchases, lootbox system and pop up ads every game and you have the recipe for a dish not even the lowest of bottom feeders would eat. there’s a cap on how many coins you earn on certain gamemodes, who thought of that?!

every single time you go in the shop there’s a prompt to buy the batt- i mean season pass. just why? let me close it once and never see it again unless i want to buy it out of my own volition. i absolutely hate this game and its monetary systems. just play the first game for godsake.

Very Addicting, Better than Original

Oh boy, what can I say about this one? It’s just great! The arcade mode gives a good spin with the bananas (freeze, double points and frenzy) and it’s exciting when all 3 are active! Then we have zen, where bombs are nonexistent. It’s relaxing to slice and dice the 4-6 fruit combos in this mode, with the staggered fruit spawning. Then we have classic. It’s basically the endless mode. Slice as much combos but bombs make you lose. Then we have fruitar hero. This is the only thing I don’t like. It’s a good idea, but doesn’t go well with the aspect and game design of Fruit Ninja 2. Finally, we get to the armoury and garden. The armoury is where you unlock taunts and blades. These are cool additions, but don’t forget the power ups! They completely change game flow and help get more and bigger combos! Now the garden. The garden is where you collect seedlings from games and plant them. When they are fully grown, they burst into resources. Overall, extremely fun game. Would recommend.
