Very funky indeed
Great app, clearly laid out, easy to use, great sound. No bugs so far, works well with midi and ableton link etc. There are a lot of rhythms, I've listened to them all and the quality is very high, no duff "fillers" or weird / novelty unusable stuff here. Great for spicing up practice, and provides plenty of inspiration when playing. It's a bit expensive, but I think I will get a lot of use out of it long term, and I don't mind supporting apps when thought and hard work and expertise is evident. A very polished professional tool.
May have lifted me to play again
I've been out of jamming and playing for a while, but I just had some real fun laying down bass and guitar to this drummer. And that was just a preset pattern at preset settings, haven't even looked at the rest of it. Got out of my seat and started some old man funky dancing when listening back. Thanks for creating this, very very good indeed.
Mega funky, but needs tweaking for pro users
Decent start to what could be a brilliant app for on stage. There seems to be lots of edgy beats that are loads of fun to jam to but not enough bread and butter patterns for gigging with. This is the same across Soft Drummer and Jazz Drummer. The live pads are a nice touch but this needs developing to make the whole experience easier and more intuitive on stage. A page with large buttons: intro/fill to B/fill/outro, and maybe a few variation buttons would be awesome. Maybe I need more time with the app but right now, I don’t feel fully ‘safe’ on stage with it yet.
