Main features:

Logbook

Glucose and ß-ketone values can be stored and sorted by time and date.
Correct monitoring and therapeutic control of people with diabetes has to take into account levels of β-hydroxybutyrate (β-OHB) - the major ketone body accumulated in blood, as well as hyperglycaemia. DKA can occur in patients with Type 1 diabetes (T1D) as the initial event of the pathology, or at any time after diagnosis, as the result of insulin deficiency. All the data are automatically organized in a chart with statistical analysis.

Charts

All the results and trends can be organized and displayed in graphic format where any out-of-range results (hyper or hypoglycaemia) are shown in different colors.

Type

For each result the user can enter comments concerning sports, medication or diet.

Personalization

The software can be customized to any user needs thanks to a simple setup utility. Users can also set the glycaemic acceptability range according to their personal glycaemic profile.

E-Mail

The user can send the results and the associated information directly to his/her healthcare professional by e-mail.

GlucoLog Lite is property of A.Menarini Diagnostics.

Almost never syncs

Frustrated to find my meter (Glucomen areo 2k) uses NFC which is unavailable with an iPhone and not Bluetooth.
You can order an attatchable BT devise which slots into the reader and connects. This was easy and free to obtain but rarely connects, when I follow the instructions it has worked a couple of times but 99% of the time fails to connect.
Very disappointed please fix.
Also won't make any type of graph as 'not enough date' despite me having 100's of blood readings on there.

Too big, no Built-in bluetooth, NFC unreliable

I was using a agamatrix bluetooth meter which was small, compact and extremely reliable connection with iPad Pro and iPhone data was shared between devices via agamatrix account. My GP practice recently moved me to a GlucoFix Tech GK device whoch is bulky in comparison. The only in-built wireless communication is NFC which is not compatible with Apple iPad Pro where I usually track my blood glucose and insulin dosage. When used with my iPhone, NFC transfers data only once in ten attempts, and does not share that data with the ipad via the web account. The device and the app are not fit for purpose, and I have reverted back to using only my trusted agamatrix after only 1-day of using both.
Please make the size much smaller, and implement built in low power bluetooth to provide much more reliable connection to modern phones and tablets - the app needs a lot of work too.

Poor effort guys.

Disappointing and false advertising

Such a con. Thankfully I did not have to part with my own money for this tech and app.

Spent an age trying to connect the app to the monitor on Bly to discover that whilst it may have the tech it doesn’t work in reality.

If there were alternative ways to transfer the info from the reader to the app, or the box clearly stated that the contactless download is a gimmick that doesn’t work I would probably be happy getting my blood sugar levels and logging them manually.
