Best stretching and mobility app EVER!!!

I use this app daily but really wanted them to create the ability to make personalised protocols and now they have! This truly is the best app for flexibility and mobility now because not only can you do the mobility test and track your mobility but you now have the ability to do one of the programmed protocols or design your own. Truly happy with this app and highly recommend!!

A really useful addition to my training but the movement instructions are lacking some detail

I am nearing the end of my free trial and have used the app at least once every day. I love that it recommends movements specific to my weak points and WOD exercises. However there are three issues I am struggling with:
1. The instructions for each movement could be improved as it’s sometimes not clear whether you should hold a position for the time shown, or repeat a movement during the specified time. This isn’t helped by the accompanying video which repeats itself - seeing the model move in and out of a movement several times makes me think I should be performing it more than once.
2. All of the videos feature highly mobile models and therefore movement standards that will be impossible for some users to perform. Scaled versions would be useful and safer I think. The mobility test videos show different ranges of movement - can you do the sane for the exercises?
3. Finally the videos can be hard to view in portrait mode - could you make them resize when the phone is rotated?

It’s very basic and hyped up by Crossfit

I chose to use the GoWOD app for about 3 months because as an amateur crossfit athlete I decided that I needed to work on my mobility. As GoWOD’s subscription is cheaper than Romwod/pliability I decided to give it a go.

Unfortunately I found the app very basic for the functionality it provides and expensively for what it offers.

Let’s start with what it actually does. It gives you a timer for each pose to hold until your selected time is up. It gives you a ‘personalised’ routine. It also allows you to do a mobility assessment.

What bugs me:
- the mobility assessment doesn’t allow for the option of ‘can’t get into the pose’.
- the overhead test is for the assessment is modelled for people…uhm…I don’t know who. I don’t know many people squatting without turning out their feet to make room for their midsection. Equally difficult for people with long thighs.
- there are some spelling mistakes
- it isn’t always clear what the exact pose is trying to achieve and sometimes it’s more of a strength exercise.
- post wod programmes always require the gym because of equipment need
- it’s far too simple for the price
- I feels like the person who programmed this doesn’t understand how stretching works and how different bodies work
- the routines don’t flow
- some poses are simply inaccessible to some

Tl dr: expensive overhyped tool that looks shiny because of affiliate athletes and brands.
