Grammarly - Keyboard & Editor 4+

Brilliant App, not cheap, but wouldn't be without it...

This app really is fantastic. For those who have ADHD or are Dyslexic especially, and do not ‘see’ the errors in their writing, this app will help enormously. For anyone writing, it is enormously helpful. I took a shot in the dark when deciding to try it, as it isn't cheap. I am now into my second year of subscription. I think that it is overpriced, not for it's value, but in terms of where it sits in the market place. For that I am removing half a star. The other half a star I have removed as sometimes I wish to write a word or name and the app does not learn that this IS what I wish to write and is NOT incorrect. Along the same line, suggestions of inappropriate word replacements pop up, so the developers may wish to focus on the thesaurus and synonym aspect. I do feel that the price will hold back many potential customers. I would like to see a reward for continued custom.

Gewat app but has a fundamental flaw

I've been using this for more than 2 years however, it does have a fundamental flaw on the iPhone, all of the sudden without warning it will delete at lightening speed everything that you have just typed and if you're fast enough you can stop it from deleting everything by pressing the Globe in the bottom left of your keyboard. I have complained about this flaw on Apple iPhone to Grammarly many times over the years and it has never been fixed. It still deletes everything without warning for no apparent reason.

It also has some other annoying flaws, if you type a word and change that word 3-5 times and carry on typing it will join the next word together. Another annoying flaw is if you change a word the same amount of times, then add a comma it will delete the last letter of that word it's a great app don't get me wrong. But on the iPhone, the deletion for no reason is a flaw that needs to be sorted. I've been asked to record this as evidence and by the time I've pressed the record button it's all deleted off my phone it's impossible to record because it is a random flaw.
