I’ve come so far with this app

Amazing app I been using it a while , can you share your yearly subscription with family ? Don’t have every son but a dam god selection , you can always request a song if it’s not in library, I’m playing a 12 string guitar now have about 12 songs I can play loads of courses too to complete , £99 for the year bargain as music lessons are 30-35£ a hour so I treated myself It gives you great direction , actual pre recorded lessons with people, cord trainers , stumming patterns, not come across any finger style yet but I’m only just getting onto intermediate songs. I love having this app at my fingertips it’s my second best friend first bring my guitar 🎸❤️ thank you for bringing such a wonderful app to us, I’ve had Justin gaunter b4 musian a few apps but this one I love coz of the music lessons would be good if a lot more songs had the action train with teacher feature please 🙏🏼 hats of tho best guitar app so far I’ve found hoping I can share my subscription with my mate

An excelllent app without equal for guitar tuning

Edit: I wasn’t expecting a reply from the app creator after I posted this. Upgraded my star rating and my review as a result. If you care enough about your app to reply and defend it then I appreciate and respect that.

A great guitar tuner. But I had a moment of panic when opening it recently and found an ad for subscription that covered the screen. If I hadn’t spotted the little cross to close it in the corner, id have binned the app there and then. So many apps are becoming subscription only after you’ve already paid for them. A substantial sum in many cases. So anyway, Panic alert over. Still highly recommended.

Great App for tuning yet spoiled by annoying subscription requests

This app is amazing for tuning my bass and is really accurate compared to other tuning apps (I’m looking at you Fender). However one big let down is that occasionally upon opening the app I’m confronted with a “subscribe to app” screen which is completely unskipable. It won’t let you past the subscription screen to get to the tuner. To me, this is a shameful and disgusting practice that makes one think that the tuning app is no longer free therefore tricking you into buying a needless subscription as you cannot skip past it to get to the tuner.

The only way to get around this highly shady practice is to completely close and relaunch the app and you should then be able to get to the tuner (though sometimes the subscription splash screen will still pop up even after closing and relaunching. Just keep closing and relaunching the app) and tune your instrument.

If it wasn’t for this disgusting, un-skippable subscription splash page that tricks unsuspecting users into thinking the app is no longer free, I’d happily give this app a five-star review. However sketchy business practices have forced me to give the app a three-star review (and that’s being generous).

All the developers have to do is add a ‘skip’ button to the subscription splash page whenever it decides to pop up yet they’d rather rake in money from confused users who have been tricked and deceived.
