GuitarTuna is the perfect app for any of your guitar need’s!🤩🤩🤩
It helps you tune, play, and practice. This app is just the most amazing app for tuning your guitar. I have tried so many apps and this one is definitely the best. It stood out the most because you can’t just practice you can also play songs with this app. All you need to do is search up your favourite song and then it gives you not one but two different ways to play that song. So if you are thinking about learning the guitar for free then this is the perfect app for you.

Great App for tuning yet spoiled by annoying subscription requests

This app is amazing for tuning my bass and is really accurate compared to other tuning apps (I’m looking at you Fender). However one big let down is that occasionally upon opening the app I’m confronted with a “subscribe to app” screen which is completely unskipable. It won’t let you past the subscription screen to get to the tuner. To me, this is a shameful and disgusting practice that makes one think that the tuning app is no longer free therefore tricking you into buying a needless subscription as you cannot skip past it to get to the tuner.

The only way to get around this highly shady practice is to completely close and relaunch the app and you should then be able to get to the tuner (though sometimes the subscription splash screen will still pop up even after closing and relaunching. Just keep closing and relaunching the app) and tune your instrument.

If it wasn’t for this disgusting, un-skippable subscription splash page that tricks unsuspecting users into thinking the app is no longer free, I’d happily give this app a five-star review. However sketchy business practices have forced me to give the app a three-star review (and that’s being generous).

All the developers have to do is add a ‘skip’ button to the subscription splash page whenever it decides to pop up yet they’d rather rake in money from confused users who have been tricked and deceived.

I can only fault it a little

The app has been nothing but amazing in my experience. The only issue a have with this app is that when a introduced it to my father, (also plays guitar) he start chanting a demonic prayer in Latin, I asked my friends/coworkers who have also used the app if they have had similar problems but apparently I am the only one that has had this happen. This leads me to believe that the app isn’t to fault and my father might need medical attention. He had also done the before but never remembers the episodes after the fact, this further solidifies my guess. He is getting up there in age and when I was little used to tell me that when he was my age he got by kidnapped the “Hail Mary church” and fed a “special nectar” to make him see vision so that might be the reason and not the app. Awesome app thought I’m quite glad I got it.
