Ratings and Reviews
Harmony 8 - proppa stuff ✔️
When I purchased this app and played around with a couple Acapellas, I did hear some artefacts (noise), with some presets.
But I was was determined to not judge the app after 5 minutes.
I also found that even source sounds with some reverb on it will make it sound 🙃. Yuck.
So a clean (Clean!) monophonic sound is essential, period!
(The app needs to find a/the single pitch).
So I pulled all the controls back to zero (+0) etc, and created an 'init' preset.
Zero-ing the controls includes switching off all the effect too.
After this I started to add and tweak tracks one by one.. - including the fx.
Now.... Wow!! 😍
This is an excellent app!
I'm not gonna write how I use it, but, it works wonders for 'my' projects.
I have asked the developers about having multi Audio outs, that would be awesome, - (but I'm not deducting a star for this, as it is a request not a promised or broken feature).
If you are willing to approach this with logic and ease, it will amaze you.
All is well,
King
😎
Edit: since writing the above review, yesterday, an update has come with a Polyphonic option. Choose between Mono and Poly in the Algorithm section.
Works great!

Succeeds fantastically
The interface is straightforward. Up to 8 voices which you can harmonise from -1 8ve to +1 8ve, and delay those harmonies independently. Different formants and different panning for each. Additional fx on top.
Personally I prefer to keep it natural sounding and modulate the pitch of voices from external MIDI sources. Incredible polyphonic results from this kind of experimentation, and the pitch shifted audio sounds very good. Naturally it works great also with monosynths etc. Very low latency on my iPad Pro.
A Load of Fun
Excellent for fun and special effects. This is not a regular vocal harmony app. Must use earphones and external mic is best. Important to go into the effects section and fix the threshold. (>Dynamic processor > gate thresh around 30.)Better if the developer could make the threshold more accessible.
