WHAT THIS MEDITATION AND SLEEP APP DOES:

The subscription will automatically renew unless turned off in your iTunes Account Settings at least 24 hours before current period ends. You can go to your iTunes Account settings to manage your subscription and turn off auto-renew. Your iTunes Account will be charged when the purchase is confirmed. If you subscribe before your free trial ends, the rest of your free trial period will be forfeited as soon as your purchase is confirmed.

Headspace also offers a Forever subscription which is paid for by a one-off upfront payment of $399.99 with unlimited access to the Headspace Collection forever.

The best thing about iPhones!

I never write reviews but this app is so great that I feel I must. I started meditation using this app 4 years ago on ‘take 10’, when I was in a bit of a hole in my life. I found meditation so beneficial to all aspects, it has improved my willpower and confidence and allowed me to find space and clarity when experiencing anxiety or going through a period of low mood. I don’t feel as overwhelmed by difficult emotions as I once did and I feel much more comfortable in myself. My life has changed a lot since that first ‘take 10’ and I believe the positive changes are down to having a meditation practice (and starting exercising). It has even encouraged to learn more and I have begun practicing Vipassana. This app is almost like a little tool pack for learning how to live with our (at times unbearable) mind. It teaches you to live in contentment. Over the last few years I’ve found that when I’m a member of the site I’ve been able to keep a more regular practice, maybe an ego thing of not wanting to lose my run streak but hey whatever works😂 It also is helpful to have the access to all the meditations, which have different intentions/ techniques- sometimes just setting a timer is a little uninspiring! I recommend it to anyone - also the sleepcasts are amazing! I’ve never been able to listen to a whole one because they send you to sleep so quickly, so even if you are getting it just for that I think it’s worth it! ❤️

Definitely worthwhile

My GP referred me to this app. Trust the process through the Basics pack and watch all the free animations that really help with 'getting it'. In 10 days I started to occasionally feel a difference and even used the techniques to undergo an examination of my gullet, stomach and duodenum by gastroscope without sedation and just a throat spray. So I signed up for the rest of the packs and WOW - there is so much more to this! I found myself in tears sometimes as I started to realise I was reconnecting mind and body during the meditation. I've tried to remember to do the exercises throughout the day, but it hasn't always happened. But still, after years of nothing but anxiety, a feeling of life being one long 'thing to do' list, and losing all joy, this morning as I was scanning down during a 'Stress' meditation, the little glow of happiness was already in there - I didn't have to put it there - and it was completely unexpected. I have a long way to go and still some big issues to deal with and this feels like I am finally on the right path to lasting resolutions.
