Hero Band III 4+

I received my watch a few days ago. Found it simple to set up and get used to as I am already familiar with technology. I think some may require help to understand the features of they are starting on a fit and healthy lifestyle but this is not a reason to Mark it down negatively. The app and watch are both basic so this makes ease of it. I love that the watch monitors sleep. This was an added extra after only wanting to view heart rate and step counting for running. It’s also handy that it tells the time. I’ve never worn a watch before as always had a phone to rely on. I would recommend this if your looking to monitor heart rate, sleep quality and like to have the time on your wrist. Mine has the pale pink strap and a black face which is simple which I like. It doesn’t rub or slip. The only issue I do have is when I take it off for brief times where I don’t want to damage it, I can have a slight soreness where the reader is. I do have the setting on for constant heart rate monitoring though. The soreness goes after a few minutes. It appears to just be an impression which I think is because I wear it on the tight notch. I would say it’s similar to the more expensive watches like the Apple Watch but does have less features but it’s exactly what I needed it for. Perfect for a first fitness watch.

I love this watch and the app. Both are really nice and simple. My favourite feature by far though has to be the customisation! There are a ton of presets to choose from and you can even design your own. However, the designing your own option is fairly limited. You can pick a colour for the time and choose a corner for the time to be in, and choose a background feature, and choose whether or not it displays certain data. But you can’t change the font of the time, which personally is a little disappointing as the time is quite small as it is, and in that font I find it very difficult to read, which is a real shame as I love the customisation. Apart from that though, it’s perfect!

I have had my watch for about 10 days now. I downloaded the app and connected the watch, changed the clock face and the time was correct. It took me a while to work out how the watch functioned as it is different from my previous watch. Then, for some reason it disconnected and I have been trying to reconnect it for days. I have repeatedly downloaded the app deleted it and downloaded it again. One issue is that the leaflet that came with it has such tiny print it is hard to read even with a strong magnifying glass. I have tried to get help from where I bought it. There is no phone number and the online chat and emails I have sent are ignored so the watch is useless to me but I don’t know what to do in the absence of anyone to get help from. I wish I had not bought it. I can’t even get it to show the correct day and time. Even though it says it is connected and done things in the app work but not the things I need. It seemed to be well recommended in reviews it this is not my experience. I don’t know if it is the watch of the app which is at fault but this is my last resort to try to get help to sort it out. I hope someone can help.
